“‘In The Company of Beasts’ is an interactive narrative which aims to immerse its audience in a dreamlike realm, inviting visitors to linger and explore. Each soundtrack accompanies an illustration. Each illustration exists to be heard and felt.

This album is a love letter for recovery and transformation. It is a eulogy for toxic intimacy and innocence lost— Here is a space to honor the power of our emotional injuries, our ability to move through deeply painful experiences as a form of rebirth in its most brutal state.

Woven within each piece are threads of Hyink’s personal life and struggles. It is her greatest hope as an artist that the audience might find a space in which to process their own traumas alongside her.”
